One of the most gut wrenching things that happens on a daily basis is animal cruelty. For those who love animals, the sight of an abused creature can make them fighting mad.

Understanding what constitutes cruelty to animals can be difficult for some to comprehend. That is why many agencies that deal with this inhumane behavior have categorized the abuses into two types, thus making the topic easier to understand and perhaps to further help in the prevention of cruelty to animals.

The first of the types of animal cruelty that one should be aware of is passive cruelty, also known as an act of omission. This is the crime of neglect and is not an actual physical action perpetrated upon an animal. In other words, this is when an individual neglects their pets animals through starvation, dehydration, inadequate shelter or failure to seek the services of a vet when required.

This type of cruelty to animals can cause severe pain and suffering that often leads to death. In some cases, the reason for the cruelty is lack of education, and when informed of the cruelty to animals, the police can step in and educate the owner about being responsible for their dogs and cats, zoo animals and farm animals.

The opposite of passive cruelty is active cruelty to animals. This is when an individual deliberately and with intent causes physical harm to an animal. Those who display these acts of commission, as they may also be called, usually suffer from severe psychological issues.

If a child displays this behavior at any time, then a parent should seek immediate help. These occurrences have been linked to sociopathic behavior and can become worse as the child reaches adult life. As well, this type of cruelty often happens in an abusive home. In a union between humans, often an abusive partner will abuse the family pet for revenge.

Animal cruelty is one thing that can be stopped if individuals will only take the first step. Through education, people can learn about the types of cruelty and how to stop it from happening. Animal abuse will not be stopped or contained in one day.

However, if we, as a collective community, can become active in helping the animals that are mistreated, then perhaps one day we can put an end to this epidemic. All it takes is education and becoming involved in just a small way. One person can really make a difference in the life of an animal.

Ist mein Hund schwanger?

Meine Freundin besitzt einen Hof auf dem Lande und kmmert sich mit ganzen Herzen um ihre Familienerbschaft. Sie ist nun die vierte Generation auf der Farm und hatte nie vor, die harte Arbeit ihres Vorahnens aufzugeben. Die Farm bestand bis vor wenigen Jahren nur aus Khen und Schafe, dabei trumte meine Freundin von einem Schferhund. Also suchte sie sich einen Zchter aus und fand ihren Schferhund Puppy. Es handelt sich dabei um eine wunderschne Hndin, die meiner Freundin auf der Farm aushalf. Drei Jahre spter, sollte derselbe Zchter meine Freundin wieder mal kontaktieren. Diesmal mit einer Bitte, er befand sich in einer Notlage.

Der Zchter htte einen ausgesetzten Schferhund aus dem Tierheim aufgenommen. Dessen Besitzer hatten keinen Platz mehr fr ihn. Also wollte der besagte Zchter den Ausgesetzten in seiner Schferhund Familie aufnehmen. Doch leider gbe es Probleme zwischen dem Oberhaupt der Schferhunde und dem Neulinge, es gbe die ganze Zeit Rauferein und Kampfzustnde.

Da der Zchter den nun Ausgestoenen Hund nicht wieder ins Tierheim stecken wollte, suchte er nach einer neuen Familie fr ihn. Da meine Freundin eine Farm und Land habe, sei ihre Situation ideal fr einen ausgestoenen Hund. Zuerst sollte sie skeptisch sein, wie solle sie mit zwei Hunde auf der Farm zu Recht kommen, doch schnell lie sie sich auf den neuen Hund berreden und sollte zur groen Verwunderung feststellen, dass beide Hunde sich prchtig verstehen.

Da nun weder der Hund kastriert und weder die Hndin sterilisiert war, musste sich meine Freundin entscheiden, ob sie einer der beiden operieren lassen soll. Doch irgendwie entschied sie sich gegen eine Operation, berlegte sich vielleicht die Hunde zu zchten. Sie kontaktierte ihren eigenen Zchter und lie der Lauf der Natur nehmen.

Vor wenigen Tagen besuchte ich sie und sie erzhlte mir, dass ihre Hndin die Woche davor trchtig sei. Darauf fragte ich sie, woher sie nun wisse, ob ihre Hndin schwanger sei.

Darauf machte sie mir eine Biologie Unterricht, die mich uerst fasziniert hat. Also, wie genau kann man nun herausfinden, ob sein Hund schwanger ist oder nicht.

uerlich merkt man der werdenden Hundemutter die ersten zwei bis drei Wochen keine Vernderung an und sie kann wie gewohnt ernhrt und wird sich ganz normal bewegen und benehmen. bewegt werden. Als Tierhalter sollte man sich auch normal behandeln. Erst ab der vierten Woche knnen die ersten Zeichen antreten. Es kann sein, dass die Hndin ein verstrktes Ruhebedrfnis hat und auch eine vorbergehende Appetitlosigkeit empfindet.

Ab der vierten bis fnften Woche werden die Anzeichen deutlich, der Leib der Hndin fngt langsam an sich zu runden und ihre Zitzen treten strker hervor. Ab diesen Zeitpunkt braucht die trchtige Hndin dann langsam Schonung.

Die Hndin beruhigt sich und wird nicht mehr viel rumtoben. Groe Anstrengungen sollte man ihr vermeiden.

Normalerweise wird die Hndin nun einen greren Hunger empfinden. Es ist ratsam die Ernhrung allmhlich umzustellen. Man sollte eine tragende Hndin auf Welpen Futter umsetzen, da diese Nahrung die richtigen Rohstoffe fr die Welpen besetzt.

Etwa in der sechsten bis siebten Woche der Trchtigkeit ist eine vorsorgliche Entwurmung angebracht, sodass sowohl die Welpen als auch die Mutterhndin vor versorgt werden. Bald schon sie die Bewegungen der Kleinen durch die Bauchdecke der Mutter etwa gegen Ende der siebten Woche zu fhlen. Die Welpen werden immer lebhafter, je nher der Geburtstermin rckt. In der achten Woche ist es normaler Weise soweit, die Welpen sind bereit, es kommt zur Geburt.

Wer auf sicher gehen will und schon frh Bescheid wissen will, ob seine Hndin schwanger ist, kann wie beim Menschen beim Tierarzt einen Ultraschall machen lassen.

Make sure that your children have a little time to play and run around so that they have no trouble getting to bed. Not only is this good for helping them to sleep better at night, but this also gets them used to to exercise. Exercising and physical exertion is an important area to instill in your child while he or she is young.

Take Naps at the Proper Time

If your child takes naps during the day, be sure that he or she does not sleep too late in the evening. If this happens, your child may not feel the need to go to bed at the proper time because their bodies may feel well rested. Getting your child up from his or her nap before it is evening should help.

Feeling Secure With a Toy

If your child slept in your room when he or she was a baby and has just moved into a room of their own, sometimes sleeping alone in a room may feel lonely. Children who are not used to this concept need time to adjust. During the adjustment period, you child may feel insecure at night and have trouble sleeping. While a stuffed animal or teddy will not be an instant cure or remedy for the situation, having one to sleep with may help your child a little during the adjustment period. Having a stuffed animal handy may very well do a great deal of good for your child.

So here are just a few tips to get you started in the right direction. A good nights sleep is important for your child to have and no doubt you as a parent would like to ensure this for your child.
